This was almost entirely a tailoring job. She owned better cloth than anything I could have bought her, in shapes cut for 1998.

Eleven pieces went to the tailor. Two coats were shortened, three jackets were taken in at the shoulder, and one ivory wool coat that she had not worn since her retirement is now the best thing in this catalogue.
